User Comments:Name: oweena/jo-eness Date: 2002-11-03 Comments: hmmmmmmmmmmm i understand that this work describes fully, the fundamental difference between the good and evil side of internal physical organisms which inturn complement the torsos somewhat bionic frivolous uglyness Name: Chris Date: 2003-04-29 Comments: I have to agree, very impressive but I see no uglyness in this painting at all. His sketch describes human anatomy and the structure of our organs. For someone of his time, before Columbous even set sail I add, he is theroeticly correct. I am a fan of all his work being the discoverer of atmospheric perspective and one of the most ingenious people of all time. Name: Elise Date: 2003-08-06 Comments: I dont believe this sketch was meant to have deep meaning, but only to help the artist understand the human figure and to teach others what he has learned. The subject of internal organs is grotesque to others but is a facination of mine. Leonardo, like myself, is trying to understand the complexities of the human form. Its a subject that can never be boring.
