Comments: Is there a print avaiable of what the complete
portrait, either computer generated or an artist reconstuction, of what the original work by Leonardo would have looked like?
Are there any original artist sketches?
Where could such a print or sketch be obtained?

Comments: i've been doing a study of leonardo for my art a level, i've been trying to find info on Ginevra de Benci and havent been able to find much. in one book it said that leonardo had produced her in a Flemish painter style, is this true? if so i'd like some more info on it as it would help loads. other than that the site is great for the images.

Comments: this is an amazing webby! i love leonardo's work and i havent been able to find any of his complete work in any books or other webbies, so far this is the best ive come across. anyway i was hoping for some "tips" about how to get art to look like his (not EXACTLY like his but just to get it to look good...).
oh well this is a great page and i'll be coming back to it more often...

Comments: I have looked for information and have not been able to come up with the reason why Ginevra has no eye-lashes. It doesn't seem to be that the lashes are light; they're missing. Could the blucking of eyelashes perhaps been a beauty fad in 15th century Italy?

Comments: Drawing eyelashes makes apicture look cartooney. Its a stylistic "fad" of artists. Try a book on technique, like "Leonardo's notes", you may be able to find that piece of info there.

Comments: Hey, I'm trying to figure out the use of linear perspective of this portrait. I know what it is, I just need to find where the lines go from the horizontal line. Could anyone please help me? If you can, please e-mail by clicking on my name. Thanks!
