Comments: I think it is a nice art piece. I haave studyed a lot of artist's from his time that this one of the finest of them all. And I have one question why were so many artist's born in the same place?

Comments: David, in response to your question, I think it was because painting had become somewhat of a respected skill... something like what a basketball/baseball player would be considered to us now... The real question SHOULD be, Why doesn't anyone paint like this anymore?
