Comments: I am very surprized that THE Blessed Virgin looks so young.Christ was an adult when He died,yet
his Mother looks to be about his age.I feel Michelangelo was trying to tell us something. The Blessed Mother looks very sorrowful,yet totally committed to her beloved son's death.
She must have felt that he would rise again,
and be worshipped by the faithful,for eternity.

Comments: I went to Rome last year and visited St. Peter´s cathedral, and before I met myself in front of that masterpiece I thought that this extremly beauty could only be in someone´s mind.
How could a human represent that only imaginable beauty in a piece of marble so well?
