Comments: To my eyes,there is a great disparity between, The dying Slave,and the Rebelling slave,statues.The dying slave was beautifully finished,with a satiny sheen.The pose was graceful, even in the throes of death.The face, exquisite,in its sorrow and dolor.
THE Rebelling slave,wears a look of distain, and 'in your face defiance'.The stance is off balance.The exterior is coarse and unfinished. The artist stopped work on it.
