Comments: A beautiful display of emotion! Mary fainting into a disciple's arms, the woman on the left covering her face with grief, Mary Magdalene kissing Jesus' feet one last time, the woman on the right tenderly holding Jesus' head, and Peter above them all holding the crown of thorns and nails like the bread and wine of the Mass. A wonderful picture of what the elements really stand for and just what it means by "This is my body, broken for you. This is the wine of the new Covenant in my blood."
